This is the reason we designed our hand-washable whold house water filter with a double-clamp structure.
Only this design makes hand-washing the filter element more labor-saving, convenient and effective. Unlike all competitors,it doesn't require users to remove the filter element for cleaning, instead, users only need to detach the lower cylinder body. This design is far more user-friendly, both in terms of convenience and safety.
What’s more, the water used for cleaning the filter element is the same water for backwashing the UF filter. By combining backwashing with manual scrubbing, we not only clean the surface of the filter element thoroughly, but also clean the impurities clogged in the filtration micropores out, completely solving the problem of UF membrane fouling.
In contrast, competitors all require users to take out the filter element for hand washing, which is more strenuous, only cleans the surface, and is powerless against impurities in the micropores. It can only alleviate membrane fouling, not solve it.
