Today, I spent the whole day working on the product brochure.
At first, I only wanted to make it easier for our customers to learn about Chengrong Ultrafiltration Factory and the core products under the brand "Chengrong Era".
But as I kept working, my expectations grew higher.
Chengrong Era is a brand, a startup brand, after all.
So if we’re going to make a product brochure, we might as well hold ourselves to the standards of building a brand.
I originally thought the 3rd draft would be almost final, but now I’ve already revised it to the 7th version. I estimate we’ll need at least 2 more adjustments before finalizing it. Anything, once you put your heart into it, becomes a major project.

Actually, I’ve long wanted to sit down and sort through all the things I’ve done over the 18 years.
Sometimes, I even draw a blank myself, wracking my brain for several minutes to recall when exactly I did a certain thing.
This PPT project, for me, has also become an opportunity to reflect on the past.
Last time, our former factory director came to bring me lychees. While we were having tea in the office, he sighed several times, saying he never expected Chengrong Factory to grow to such a large scale now.
But truth be told, expanding the factory’s scale has never been my pursuit. What I’ve always strived for is to make good products, ensure solid quality, and implement strict quality management, all to truly solve problems for our product's users.
You might not know that, but our Chengrong Ultrafiltration Factory started as a small hardware stamping workshop with fewer than 10 people.
At that time, we made hardware accessories and processed stainless steel casings for pipeline ultrafiltration water purifiers.
I founded Chengrong in 2008, and as early as 2011, we set up a R&D department in the factory, to improve product quality. So why did Chengrong get into ultrafiltration membrane R&D? Because R&D has been in our factory’s DNA and tradition from the start.
Later, the ultrafiltration membrane suppliers we collaborated with, couldn’t provide stable-quality membranes that met Chengrong’s quality standards. That’s why we established our own membrane production facility.
Step by step, we never imagined our team would grow from fewer than 10 people to 280. The small hardware stamping workshop back then has now become one of the top three players in the pipeline ultrafiltration industry, and even a one-of-a-kind full-supply-chain factory that’s hard to find a second worldwidely.
Why do we say it’s a full-supply-chain factory rarely seen elsewhere globally? Because there’s no other factory in the world that does both hardware stamping and ultrafiltration membrane R&D and manufacturing, except Chengrong Ultrafiltration Factory.
Now, more and more consumers recognize that Chengrong’s ultrafiltration membranes are among the best in the industry. But what many might not realize is that, the quality of the stainless steel casing of an ultrafiltration water purifier, is also crucial for pipeline ultrafiltration systems.
Since water purifiers are water-contacting equipment, their sealing performance and precision are of great importance.
Many of the welding equipment used in our factory are custom-made by us.
In short, looking back on the past has only strengthened my long-held belief: do well what’s in front of us, and what’s meant to come will come, what’s meant to be ours will be ours.
Expanding Chengrong’s scale was never my goal, so much so that scale itself has never been something I pursue.
I only care about one thing: whether our product quality is good, and whether we’ve solved our users’ pain points.
We became one of the top three in the pipeline ultrafiltration sector, and due to bad market conditions, the other two top players even gave up ultrafiltration membrane production and R&D. Without us actively seeking it, Chengrong has inadvertently become a top-tier factory in the industry.
But this is the result of our hard work, not the goal I set out to achieve.
