Yesterday afternoon, a customer came to my office for tea.


This customer has built a strong presence in Douyin (Chinese Tiktok) livestreaming, so he made a special trip to our company to check out the products.


He highly recognizes our company’s product quality and quality Control management. Cooperating with us gives him great peace of mind, especially as he doesn’t need to worry too much about the supply chain.


Coincidentally, our ChengrongEra brand team has also been trying to launch livestreaming in recent days. So I asked him to share a few brief insights with our livestreaming team. Since all his team members have received professional livestreaming training.


The customer said that doing livestreaming requires talking nonstop all day long. If you don’t pay attention to your vocal technique, your throat can easily get hurt. So it’s important to learn to use abdominal voice production, to let your voice come from your abdomen. Then the throat won’t get hoarse, and you won’t get tired as easily.


He also mentioned that when facing the camera, you must have a steady gaze. If your eyes dart around, it’s hard for the audience to trust you. I noticed that Claire from our team often unconsciously glances upward during livestreams. This kind of habit needs conscious training to improve confidence.


Like I said the other day, young people need to be confident and speak with full vitality. Don’t be afraid of making mistakes, even if you do, you should carry yourself with conviction. After all, youth is a time for making mistakes and hitting bumps in the road. That’s how you grow and accumulate experience.



Yesterday, I asked this customer, "Will it affect you if Chengrong Factory builds its own brand?"


The customer replied, "No, it won’t. Because ChengrongEra brand water purifiers are priced higher and differ in specifications, there’s a clear segmentation between our products and yours."


Hearing this, a huge weight was lifted off my mind.


I’d long been worried that building our own brand might impact the factory’s existing clients, especially since we’re still primarily an OEM-focused factory.


Now, after hearing what the customer said, I feel somewhat relieved.



Why did I want to build our own factory brand?


It’s because our factory’s R&D department would upgrade and optimize our products every year, based on the pain points reported by end-users. However, our in-house team is reluctant to sell these upgraded products, claiming they’re too costly to produce and priced too high to be marketable.


But I believe that for a company to grow, it must consciously strive for upward progress, like competing in quality and service.


If a product’s quality is poor, even the best service is just a castle in the air, offering little real value to end-users. That’s why, in our pipeline ultrafiltration water purifier industry, the ultimate competition boils down to product quality, it’s our core competitiveness.


So, I think for our factory to continue developing, we need to have several products in the end-user market that serve not only as our factory’s calling cards, but also as benchmarks in the stainless steel pipeline ultrafiltration water purifier sector.



Therefore, in 2025, I launched ChengrongEra, our factory’s own brand.


First, to address customers’ pain points.


Second, to tap into the high-end market by achieving 极致 excellence in quality, which in turn pushes our factory to continuously refine our product quality R&D and quality management.


Third, to get closer to end-users. Only by engaging directly in the C-end market can we better understand the pain points end-users face when using our products, identify areas for improvement, and guide our R&D direction, avoiding the trap of working in isolation.



For a small factory like ours, growth into a “small but strong” enterprise can only come through taking on high-end market orders. High-end clients have strict quality requirements, which forces us to overcome technical hurdles in product quality and continuously improve our quality control management.


The more problems we can solve, the stronger Chengrong Factory becomes.
